The Big Lid 10 adds 610 cu in (10 L) on top of your pack for headlamp, batteries, flagging, snacks and fiber tape. Two zippered compartments keep it sorted, and the smaller one takes a 3 L hydration bladder.

The Sundström kit is a reusable SR 100 silicone half mask with an SR 510 P100 filter and an SR 232 cartridge, for mop-up, holding, ash and smoke within your respiratory program.

How to carry it
Lid on the pack, mask at the ready
The Big Lid 10 rides on top of your pack and holds the rest of your quick-grab essentials: your assembled Sundström mask, plus headlamp, batteries, flagging, snacks and a 3 L hydration bladder in the smaller compartment. Take the mask out of its storage tub, assemble it with the filter you need, and stow it in the Big Lid 10’s main compartment so it’s on your back and ready the moment smoke lays down. Keep the tub and spare filters and pre-filters in your pack body or rig.

Combo questions
Does the mask fit inside the Big Lid 10?
The storage tub stays behind, but the mask goes in. Take the mask out of the tub, assemble it with your filter, and stow it in the Big Lid 10’s main compartment so it’s ready to grab. Keep the tub and spare filters in your pack body or rig.
Which packs does the Big Lid 10 fit?
It works with all Mystery Ranch fire packs except the SHIFT, and it comes standard on the FEMP pack. Not sure about yours? Ask us.
Can I choose a different Big Lid 10 color?
The Big Lid 10 is currently offered in black only.
Is the mask approved for structural firefighting?
No. It’s an air-purifying respirator for non-IDLH work such as mop-up, overhaul in exterior areas, ash and debris. Use SCBA for interior attack or any IDLH atmosphere.
Can I swap the mask size after I order?
Yes, as long as the mask packaging hasn’t been opened, under our return policy. We can’t accept opened masks, filters or cartridges.
